Using Rcall

These terms describe your use of the Rcall website and its connected-assistant service, operated as Rcall. You must be at least 18 and have reached the age of majority where you live.

Registration is not restricted to residents of Canada or the United States. Availability remains subject to applicable laws and the availability and requirements of our service providers and the assistants you choose. Rcall does not guarantee availability in every jurisdiction.

Rcall stores the information you intentionally save. It is not automatic conversation memory, an emergency service, or a guaranteed backup. Use it for noncritical information and keep important originals elsewhere.

Rcall is free during early access. No payment card is required, and creating an account does not authorize a future charge. Any paid offering will require a separate purchase.

Your account

Provide an email address you control, confirm it, and protect your sign-in details. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access; do not send us your password or an authentication link.

We record the terms version you accept, the privacy notice version presented, your eligibility declarations, and the acceptance time. The Privacy Notice explains how account information and saved data are handled. Accepting these terms is not consent to marketing emails.

Your saved information

You retain your rights in the information you save. You give Rcall the limited permission needed to store, process, display, export, and transmit it to deliver the features you request, including through our service providers and the assistants you authorize.

Only save material you have the right to use and share. Avoid other people's personal information unless you have an appropriate basis to provide it. Rcall is not intended for passwords, API keys, government identification, payment-card details, or sensitive health information.

Rcall stores memories and project context you choose to save so you can retrieve them in another connected assistant. It does not upload complete chat histories or execute arbitrary generated code, SQL, or HTML. Saving a task or reminder does not schedule a notification.

Connected assistants

Claude and ChatGPT are separate services. Their accounts, availability, subscription requirements, and policies are controlled by their providers. Each assistant must support the connection and use a Rcall tool to save or retrieve context.

You authorize each connection and its available read/write permissions. A permission can apply to saved information across your account; a project is an organizational container, not a separate sharing boundary. Review requested permissions before approving.

An assistant can misunderstand a request or give an incorrect answer. Check the actual tool result and your Rcall workspace rather than relying on a promise to remember. Revoking access blocks future authorized access once completed, but does not erase information already copied into a host's chats or systems.

Limits and responsible use

The current Free allowance is 100 memories, 3 optional projects, and 100 records total per account. Each memory can contain up to 100,000 characters. Website and assistant activity share those limits. Request-rate and technical limits also apply; there is no billed monthly recall allowance in this release.

Do not bypass access controls or limits, access another person's account without authorization, interfere with the service, or use it for unlawful activity. We may restrict access to protect users, respond to misuse, or meet legal obligations. Contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

Exporting, disconnecting and leaving

You can inspect and edit your saved information, export memories or individual projects, revoke assistant access, and request account deletion through the website. See data controls and deletion for the steps and limitations.

Self-service account deletion requires password verification. Billing-linked accounts and accounts with verified multifactor authentication require support-assisted handling. Revoking a connection does not delete your saved data. Deletion cannot retract copies you or an assistant provider already downloaded or retained, and backup retention is separate from live application deletion.

Availability and your legal rights

Rcall is in early access. Features can change, requests can fail, and interruptions or data loss are possible. We do not promise uninterrupted service, an error-free AI response, or suitability for critical decisions. Exports are subject to technical limits and are not a substitute for a separately tested backup.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. These terms do not require mandatory arbitration or specify an exclusive court or jurisdiction. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem.

Changes and contact

We will identify material terms changes with a new version and present the current terms for acceptance on an eligible website visit. Changes to data practices will be explained in the Privacy Notice, with additional consent where required. We will not turn your free account into a paid subscription without a separate purchase.

You can submit a support request through your account or contact us by email. Submitted messages are shared with authorized Rcall support staff for handling your request; this does not grant them access to your saved memories or project content. Support is not an emergency service and has no guaranteed response time.
